Oslo tells the behind-the-scenes story about the high-level talks between the Israeli government and the Palestine Liberation Organization that led to the Oslo peace accords. The play explains how a Norwegian couple helped convince the two sides to sit down and talk to each other and ultimately forge the historic agreement. You can order tickets to see Oslo at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center starting in March.

Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day is a new Broadway play based on the film with the same title. It tells the story of a weatherman who travels to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to cover a Groundhog Day event and finds himself stuck repeating the same day over and over until he manages to get it right. The book was written by the screenwriter of the original film, Danny Rubin, with music by Tim Minchin (who’s had previous Broadway success with Matilda). Performances will begin at the August Wilson Theatre in March.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is based on the novel by Roald Dahl. It tells the story of a young boy who is invited on a tour of Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory. The play will star Christian Borle at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, with performances scheduled to begin in March.

Significant Other

Significant Other is a story about the struggle to find love and remain upbeat when one’s close friends are getting married and settling down. It will star Gideon Glick and will be performed at the Booth Theatre starting in February.

The Glass Menagerie

The Glass Menagerie is a story about a struggling former Southern belle and her two children that has been produced on Broadway several times. The newest Broadway production of the Tennessee Williams classic will begin at the Belasco Theatre in February and will star Sally Field and Joe Mantello.
