Heisenberg
Heisenberg tells the story of a woman named Georgie who sees Alex, a much older man, at a train station in London and kisses him. The two opposites begin a romantic relationship. The play stars Mary-Louise Parker and Denis Arndt and is directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, who also directed it off-Broadway. Heisenberg is being performed in previews at the Samuel J. The Cherry Orchard
The Broadway revival of Anton Chekhov’s play The Cherry Orchard is currently in previews at the American Airlines Theatre. The classic play was adapted for modern audiences by Stephen Karam and is directed by Simon Godwin. It stars Diane Lane in the role of a Russian noblewoman who left her family’s estate after her son’s death but returns to try to prevent the estate’s foreclosure. The cast also includes Tony winners Chuck Cooper, Joel Grey, and John Glover. The play is set around the time of the Russian Revolution. The Front Page
The Front Page is a comedy about the newspaper industry that was first performed on Broadway in 1928. It is currently in previews at the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway and is scheduled to officially open on October 20 and run through January 29, 2017. The cast includes two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, John Goodman, John Slattery, and Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays.
